We’ve seen countless leaks and heard numerous rumors of an upcoming next-generation iPhone over the past few months. Furthermore, Apple has released a new iPhone every year for the past five years. Thus, I think it’s safe to say that a new iPhone is definitely coming…

However, in case you needed even more proof, a new report from AllThingsD claims that manufacturers in Apple’s Taiwanese supply chain have just posted record sales for the month of July:

“Preliminary sales data for a group of component suppliers that generate 50 percent to 60 percent of their revenue from Apple rose by an estimated 14 percent month over month in July, according to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White. That’s almost double the average sales increase of 8.5 percent that those suppliers have posted over the past seven years, and the strongest July on record for the group.”

These high numbers could also mean that Apple is planning to release new devices alongside the next generation iPhone. A rumored “mini iPad” has been all over the blogosphere lately and could very well make its way to the stage in Apple’s next event. New iPod Touches and Nanos have also been rumored to show up later this fall.

Although not official yet, September 12th is the date that everyone is waiting for. The 12th is rumored to be the day that Apple unveils all of its awesome new products, while September 21st is supposedly launch day.
