The wildly popular Sparrow email client has just been updated for iOS today to bring POP support to the iPhone. It was introduced to the Mac just a little over a month ago, and no iPhone users can get in on the action.

The new updated also brings some bug fixes and improvements but it unfortunately still doesn’t add push support. Push support is definitely a deal breaker for many, but the company has promised that it is coming soon – with a yearly subscription. Frankly, a subscription to get push notifications sounds ridiculous to me, but to each his own. Stay tuned for more info…
