android 2.2 (i believe this is what it comes with)
your ipod must be jailbroken and not running any firmware over 4.2.1

I know something about Android on the iDevice.
Maybe you could make a Tutorial for the others to give them a chance to understand how to put android on the iDevice.

Android on the iDevice only works with the iPod 1g and 3g. The others don't support it
