    Advice for theming Calendar icon

    Hi all,

    I decided to use Agenda app instead of stock Calendar but I'd like to keep the icon and especially the date and day display on it, in other words: pressing what looks like the Calendar icon will open Agenda
    Is it possible and if so, how?

    Thanks in advance

    Hmm I know their is a icon harvester in cydia but I'm not sure you will get the effect you want, basically you want the icon and all changes associated implemented on agenda.

    I'm already using a Winterboard theme (AvenueB-HD) so I have no problem getting the icon itself and attribute it to Agenda, just wish to have the day of week and date displayed on it...

    Edit: I was thinking of using the "Info.plist", maybe possible to get it to send it's parameters to Agenda and not to Calendar

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>BadgeStyle</key>
    <string>padding-left: 1; padding-top: 2 ; font-size: 12px; color: White; text-shadow: rgba(255,255,255,0.5) 0px 1px 0px;</string>
    <key>CalendarIconDateStyle</key>
    <string>color: rgba(0,0,0,0.75); padding-top: 6; padding-right: 1; font-size: 28;</string>
    <key>CalendarIconDayStyle</key>
    <string>color: White; padding-top: 3;</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    the info.plist is what tells iOS to put the date on the calendar icon.

    your best bet is just to edit the agenda icon manually and in photoshop or something put a date onto it. AFAIK there's no way to get a dynamic date onto any icon but the calendar

    That's what I would like to know: how to tell iOS to put the dynamic date on another icon!

    Don't we miss MortScript some time???
