I've recently downloaded and begun using the vWallpaper app from Cydia. At first, I also used the Slide to Unlock Killer app to get rid of the bars around the slider and the clock on the lockscreen. Now, I would like to start using a custom clock. I want it to look more interesting, along the lines of many of the themes I've seen. I tried using the themes themselves, but this seems to have the effect of overlapping the vWallpaper live wallpaper effect. It should be possible to have the live wallpaper in the background while having a custom clock but so far I've been unable to figure out how to even describe this effect. Most of the custom clocks I see are part of a theme, and they seem to automatically use the included background. It is possible that these themes, at least some, are eliminating the normal clock and using live wallpaper (with user input responses, such as the slider) to replace what you would normally be seeing/interacting with. I don't want that. I want to do everything a la carte, so to speak. I tried searching here, but couldn't find anything related, partly because I'm a bit unsure as to how to refer to things. Any advice? Am I the only one who has tried to do this?
You can edit/remove anything you want in a theme using iFile.
