Hey guys. So I'm interested in jailbreaking my ATT Iphone mainly so I can use it to tether with my tablet (Nook Color) and maybe a Nexus 7 next month. All the stuff I've seen about how pda net hides tethering usage has been inconclusive. And my research has also been inconclusive in regards to tetherme, mywi, and some other tethering apps. Is it something where it's just don't go crazy with it and you won't get nailed? Is there anything that will hide my tethering activity? I've read that it has something to do with ttl and vpn but again, inconclusive. Thanks for the help!

Get caught by who? Hide it from who? Your carrier?
As long as you don't constantly tether you should be fine using any tethering app. PDANet will hide your tethering activity, but you can keep on using whatever you're using now if you haven't gotten a SMS from AT&T.
