Hello!
Ok, this is one thing that i haven't seen in all my time using the iphone. i would like to have an app that would turn off/lock the iphone screen just the same as if you pressed the button at the top.
the reason is that i feel it would be much easier to press an app on the home screen than to change the orientation which i am holding the iphone and press the button.
can anyone make this type of app (not full power off, just screen lock)
thanks

i need only icon on screen for turn off screen. that is all. and i know this app is in Cydia but i cant find it.
i found!
the name of this app is Quicklock 2. you can find it in Cydia
Not that it matters to me as I just use the power button, but wouldn't an app be more trouble than it's worth. Assuming you put the app on your home screen you'll need to first press home, then the app to lock the screen. Why not just install Activator and remap an action such as holding the home button or a swipe gesture on your screen. It would reduce a step since you could do it from any screen, not just the home screen.
