At first, after reinstalling redsn0w, the app was still white. But for some reason after I went into Cydia and let it do its thing it turned back to normal. In the midst of that I was still getting a network error Unable to Load (The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “cydia.saurik.com” which could put your confidential information at risk.).
Low and behold my date was set wrong on the phone. I guess the fact that I didn't have a sim card installed when I jail broke caused it to not fetch the exact date? Not 100% sure. But anyway, it works now. Really appreciate your help. Thank you so much!
I used my Mac this time. I found the mac version of the redsn0w link you gave me.
