3gs stuck on 4.1 with 6.15.00 baseband , help?

Hi. my iphone has been through the ringer and back, I'm currently stuck on 4.1 on 6.15.00 baseband. I was forced to upgrade my baseband due to letting my mother in law use my phone for a few days with EXPLICIT instructions not to mess with it in itunes. I get it back 2 weeks later would not come on, then it got stuck in a boot loop, followed by error after error after error. It took me a while to get it all sorted out, and part if it included upgrading my baseband. (grr) but now I can't seem to find a way to upgrade. cydia says my shsh blobs are on file however i can't seem to pull them up with tinyumbrella. could anyone tell me where I can download a legit custom ipsw to restore up too? I really don't want to go through error 3194 and 2005 again. And there are some apps i would like to try that require higher ios.

Also, a secondary problem, my sleep/wake/power button does not function. I've assigned other things to put my phone into sleep mode via activator sbs settings, but can it be put into DFU mode without an actual power button? I notice I cannot do a reset on the phone without it even if ive designated something else as that button (the holding down power/home thing.) is this fixable or is there another workaround? I was thinking since the upper part of my screen is cracked and that button is severely lose maybe it's just not making the connection? I'm wondering if i replace my screen (which i've been putting off) will i have an opportunity to fix the sleep/wake button?

Man your in for it, you'll need dfu to pwn the iPhone and install any iOS since your baseband is iPads 6.15.
I think the shsh blobs are saved in the root of your hard drive usually C: try searching their first.

so what should I do about the power button cause that seems to be the biggest problem, if i don't have it then i might as well not even bother trying to upgrade?

I'm surprised you could get it out of boot loop without the power button
