iphone 4 5.0.1 SAM UNLOCK, can i update to 5.1.1 and jailbrak it

my friend have a iphone 4 5.0.1 SAM UNLOCK, can we update to 5.1.1 and jailbrak it, when i unlock it with SAM i make a backup ticket with redsnow.
can i do it with this procedure?
1. make backup activation ticket with cydia (cookie from bigbossrepo)
2. update iphone to 5.1.1 directly via iphone with wirelless
3. Jailbrek it with Absinthe 2.1
4. make restore activation ticket with cydia (cookie from bigbossrepo)

do you know anyone what is procedure with activation after update, do i must repeat procedure with SAM or it automaticly recognize sim card with backup ticket

This should work as long as the Sam ticket is backed up, but I thought it had to be done before apple stop signing that iOS

It will recognize the SIM with the backup ticket- as long as you have the backup ticket you will be able to use that SIM with your 4S
