    iPhone update from 4.0 -> 4.3?

    So I haven't updated my iPhone since it was released because I feared something would happen due to it being jailbroken. Now, some of the apps I want require iOS 4.2, so I'm wondering if anything would happen if I just updated my iPhone to 4.3 then jailbreak it again, or would I need to do something more complicated like unjailbreak it, update, then rejailbreak etc.

    Thanks.

    When you update you'll lose the jailbreak and you'll also be forced to use iOS 5.1.1 unless it's a 3G which is 4.2.1.

    iOS 5.1.1 is a tethered jailbreak ATM
