Sadly that had no effect on the device, I even tried holding the power and home to force shut down to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Try creating a new folder on your desktop then send yourself a copy of the documents folder to your desktop.

Copy all visible files to the new folder(keeping an eye on the space to make sure that huge file isn't copied)

Rename it to documents and replace the existing one

Just tried that but it says the entire folder is only 45mb, i have no idea where the 4GB file is saved.

Have you tried searching for it from root?

Yes I have tried that but there are no results when I search it was an .iso file if that makes a difference.
