Jailbreak and install Cydia with 0.9.10b5c on Ipod Touch 2G

I bought an Ipod touch 2G for 35$, im trying to jailbreak it with 0.9.10b5c, i have the ipsw file iPod2,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore

Im opening the redsn0w software and click on the "Jailbreak" button a do the DFU mode and it says the ipod isnt support so i need to select the ipsw file and i do so
i enter DFU mode and i cant click on "next" so i restarted the ipod and it started to prepare etc, i shut it down quick and enter DFU and after that i could select bootlogo,recoverylogo etc so i did and clicked next and it began to install etc, it all workt fine, the phone went white then black etc, i took a smoke and got bak, it says everything is done, rest happens on the ipod, when i open up the ipod its on the desktop, without Cydia and bootlogos, how can it say everything went fine if it wasnt installed? sorry for bad explanation etc.

Did you make sure you choose to install cydia? Not sure about the boot logos all else fails get the sn0wbreeze compatible with the iOS redsn0ws been giving a lot of people issues.
