    Exclamation Safari/Cydia crashes on 5.1

    Hi All
I have iphone 4 and installed IOS 5.1, new to jailbreaking. I've done jailbreaking using Redsnow tethered mode. Everything seems working fine and whenever i do restart/Turnoff-ON, I'm unable to open Safari and Cydia. It opens until i do just boot from redsnow. Did i do something wrong or Is that problem in redsnow jailbreaking?

    Thank n advance.

when your phone is off, you will need to use the just boot option every time you turn it back on.

That's the hassle with a tethered jailbreak

That's the difference between tethered and untethered, untethered allows you to boot normally, but there is no current untethered jailbreak for 5.1 at this time.

I always wait for the untethered before I jailbreak, less hassle & not a problem (:

I'm a pro at dfu mode these days, you can force the iPhone off and into dfu while it's not connected to the pc or Mac lots of ways to get it but redsn0w and all jailbreak apps prefer it off and connected.

There's a "semiuntethered" in cydia that semi works...lol. Actually what you have to do (I've done this a couple times today and it worked) is turn the patch safari on before you reboot, then turn it off when you boot back up. Again i've only done this today so i may have ran into some luck.
