Can I create custom iOS 5.1 with bb 4.10.01 for iphone 4 and unlock using gevey ultra?

You can use redsn0w to build a custom IPSW and it will preserve your bb.

Search Google to find what bb's are supported by them, I don't use unlocks.

The web doesn't mention unlock on 5.1 with gevey ultra.

As long as you can preserve the bb when updating I don't see the problem.

Just want to make sure I can unlock 4.10.01 on iOS 5.1 with gevey ultra, else I would be stuck on lock forever like 4.11.08.

Understandable, personally I'd wait until Gevey or trusted websites mention it can be done. If you can't find anything on the web, there's most likely a reason.

I never mess with unlocks so honestly I'm not sure if it would work or not.
