3GS Restore mode but boot loops and iTunes refuses to restore.

I have a 3GS that will bootloop but can get it to stay in restore mode with the iTunes picture and shit. Can also obviously put into DFU mode. Have tried different combinations while restoring with iTunes like, iReb, Tiny Umbrella(TS servers running), and iTunes pointed to cydia servers. Tried several combinations with that and also with custom and non custom firmware for 5.0.1 and 5.1, always gives me errors like, 1600-1604, 2005, 2009, and 3194. I know what these errors mean and what to do to fix them but when I take the steps to fix them it gives me a new error. Also once it gave a -1 or 1 error I don't remember but that was only once. Any suggestions? I've also tried iRecovery and RecBoot but can't get those to work for me. Maybe more in detail tutorial for iRecovery or RecBoot someone could point me to? The motherboard was given to me with several other iPhone parts so I have no clue what could hardware wise be wrong with it. It looks fine but of course the eyes are deceiving.
