[Q] Battery completely empty with Jailbreak

Hi

I have a question...
I have an iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1 jailbroken tethered (with semi tether installed) I was wondering, (because i read numerous reports this happened on iOS 4) if i drained the battery completely, to the point where it shuts down, will it still take charge? Or will it boot-loop? I hear this was a problem on tethered iOS 4 jailbreaks.

I believe it will boot up like it does when you plug it in, but when it boots any Cydia apps and probably some stock apps won't work (that's what the semi-tethered allows). In that case you'll need to boot tethered for full functionality.
