iPhone Stuck in DFU Mode, Pls help.

Ok I have tried many many things and can not get this iPhone 4 out of DFU mode.
    Here is the info:

iPhone 4, running 4.0.2 iOS. ( I was able to get that from iFaith)
I do not know if the SHSH files are saved for this iPhone beyond 4.0.2

I run iFaith and saved the SHSH for 4.0.2 and restored it on 4.0.2 again but after the restore it reboots into DFU mode. It never comes up. I tried Tinyumbrella, I tried recboot, I tried fixrecovery, I tried restore 4.0.2 couple of times, nothing seems to work.

I tried this on Windows and Mac.

My only option as I see for now, is wait for official redsnow or pwnage tool for 5.1, and run that and preserve the baseband. I just dont want the tethered JB for this iPhone 4.

    Any suggestions be great.

Is it in actual dfu "black screen" or recovery, when you use iTunes to restore is there any error codes?

It is in actual dfu "black screen", when I restore with 4.0.2 it goes through completely without any errors.

If your problem is only about getting stuck on DFU mode:
To get out of the DFU mode or out of Recovery mode, simply disconnect your device from your computer,
and press and hold the "Home" and "Power" buttons for ten seconds. Then you should be able to boot the iPhone normally.

Unless your phone have other complications.
But if the restoring went well without any errors,
you should be able to get out of DFU mode by doing above. (I think)

That doesnt work, its almost like whenever it wants to come up it automatically goes into DFU mode. The restore goes normal and when its about to reboot to come to normal it goes into DFU. If I cant find anything soon, I ll probably just restore it to 5.1 with preserving the baseband.

    Worth a shot:
    1) hold down the Sleep/Wake for 5 seconds (do not release it after those)
    (2) keep holding Sleep/Wake and press the Home button for 10 seconds
    (3) release the Sleep/Wake button, keep holding home till you see the Apple logo(hopefully).

Tiny umbrella will tell you if you have other blobs for your I device, if you have the blobs for your current iOS you can try upgrading with a custom ipsw then downgrade again.

But if it's not working now chance you may not be able to go back, did you try using tiny umbrella to get the blobs?
