Redsn0w 0.9.10b6 (google it) ( as a new user i can't post outside links)
Sn0wBreeze (google it)
For locked iphone 4, please preserve your baseband.


And remember this jailbreak is still tethered, which means, you have to connect your iphone to your computer every time you switch it off.
you can install corona to have a semi tethered jailbreak, just search cydia for it.

Sould point out that all ios5.1 Jailbreaks are only compatable with A4 devices at present so do not attempt these methods on an A5 device as there is no jailbreak for them yet.

What I meant was an "un-tethered" jailbreak for iPhone4.
