Bizarrely, Mercedes new 2 thousand pounds Comand Online stereo system isn't compatible with the world's most popular phone.
Apparently it requires Bluetooth DUN capability which the iphone doesn't support (incidentally, neither does Android or WP7). Only the Blackberry and some basic Sony Ericsson phones seem to work.
I have tried experimenting with the ibluever demo software on Cydia, but I couldn't get anything at all to tether or work at all so I didn't bother with the full app. Ibluever claims to support Bluetooth DUN.
I've also not seen anything in IOS5 that hints that bluetooth DUN will be supported.
Any ideas on how I could get this to work? Mercedes are not much help, they just say speak to Apple or buy another supported phone...
Thanks
