ipod 4th gen 8gb wi-fi problem

hi guys,so,my sisters ipod 4gen is not getting any wi-fi signal if she goes away from the router for more than 4,5 meters..i've got the router in my bedroom and my sister cant get any wi-fi signal on the ipod in her bedroom wich is just in front of mine..i allready reset the ipod to fact settings,it remains the same..dont think is the router as it was working fine before,and everything else is working,like my laptop,tablet,my phone etc..any ideas of what it could be??thnks guys

Is it only recently that the issue came up?

Did you try resetting the router?

Did you try connecting to a different network connection to see if it's just your router?

yes,i did reset my router,tryed another router,tryed at my mates wi-fi and its the same problem,it works near the router but 4 or 5 meters away i get no signal..weird..never heard about this problem before :S!hope somebody have a solution!

What do you do if after physically re-plugging in the wifi cable, it no longer detects any networks or anything?

i have done a restore/reset of the device..it is now just like it was from new,but the wi-fi problem remains ..

sorry mate,didn't get that,(wi-fi cable)do you mean internet cable from the router?the one that comes from phone line socket to the router?
