ipod forth generation with BLE 4.0??

    hello everyone,
I am interested on doing a project using my ipad2. in the project I have to use bluetooth functionality.
I was really interested in using "Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy - BLE Mini"
However it only works with bluetooth 4.0 chip which is in iphone 4s, ipod touch 5th and etc and I do only have ipad2 which has bluetooth 2.1. I was just wondering if there is a way that I communicate from my ipod touch (with BT 2.1) and BLE mini (with BT 4)? Can I connect BLE to my pc using a BT 4.0 dongle and then connect my PC to my ipad2 using 30 pin connector? if yes, how? or is there any adapter that can conver BT 4.0 to ipad2 30 pin connector?
