Can I backup my sms in my iphone to pc?

Hey Guys, I'm running a Jailbroken iPhone, Is there a program either on the app store, or Cydia that will allow you to save your messages onto your computer in plain text, excel or any other format so you can delete them from the phone, and keep them on your PC?

Hi there try this method :

Step 1 : Activate and unlock your phone

Step 2 : Tap the "settings" icon on your home screen

Step 3 : Tap "Mail,Contacts,Calendar" in the settings menu

Step 4 : Scroll down and tap "Import sim contacts" this will save all sim contacts to the phone memory

Step 5 : Conect your phone to a PC and launch iTunes

Step 6 : Click your iPhone icon in the left hand menu then click the "info" tab

Step 7 : Click the checkbox next to "Sync Address book and contacts"

Step 8 : Sync your device and it will save the content to your PC

You can also try this :

Connect device to iTunes , let it detect your device

Hover the cursor over your device in left menu and right click it

    Choose "Back Up"

To locate your back up go to the following directory :

    Windows Xp :

    Documents and settings/(usrname)/application data/apple computer/mobile sync/back up

You can save messages to iCloud and then when restored from there, it will return everything to as it originally was. Other than that, a backup via a computer will do the same.

This software can either backup and restore SMS and can backup and restore Contacts, very handy. I've been using and strongly recommend you to use.
    Link:
You can search " obbosoft " in google......

I go through the obbosoft site and found that this is only available for Android and Mac OS and not for iPhone to backup SMS/MMS from mobile to PC.

Try iPhone SMS + MMS Extractor. Works fine for my iPhone 5.

If you have back up your text messages, you can restore from the backup.
To restore information from a backup, use one of the following methods after connecting your iOS device to the computer with which you normally sync:
    1. Right-click (or Control-click) the device and choose Restore from Backup
    2. If you have a new phone, you can connect to iTunes and it will prompt to restore from your backup

If you have no backup for your data on iPhone, iPhone data recovery software is your last shot! It's easy to use. Just a few clicks you can get all your data back.

To back up, you just have to connect your iPhone to a PC/Laptop/Mac and iTunes takes an automatic backup. It's free and easy. Anyone can do it.

If you never made a backup, and still lost your iPhone text messages, you CANNOT restore back to your iPhone.
