Angry iPhone 4 stuck in boot loop

    iPhone 4, GSM, 16Gb.

Stuck in a boot loop in which it will display the apple logo for about 10 seconds, screen goes black for about 3-5, the goes back to the apple logo for 10 seconds, over and over. Was jailbroken on iOS 5, restored to the latest firmware at the time, problem persisted even after restoring. Please Help, thank you.

Try holding up the volume up button when the Apple logo shows up and keep holding it. However of that doesn't work then try restoring it again.

Phone doesn't mount so restoring is not an option.

Boot to DFU mode. Hold power and menu for 10 seconds, release power and continue holding menu for another 30 seconds. You should be able to restore after that.

Tried that doesn't work. No matter what combination of buttons I hold it does the same thing. Would a video help?

Hold power for 3 sec , then power and home for 10 then release power button while still holding home button for 30 will put your device into DFU where then you can connect it to iTunes for a restore , as itunes should reconize it as being in restore mode

As I have said before the phone can not be put into DFU mode. Thinking about offering a paypal reward to whoever can fix this...need it working so I can pawn it off for a GS3.

If you can't get it into DFU , and your PC doesn't mount it ? I think you S3 just got a little farther away
