    iPhone 4s Sprint to T-Mobile

Alright I don't usually make a posts, used xda-developers for years. However, I bought an iPhone 4s, sprint version, and I had heard that you could buy something to go with your T-Mobile sim card. Not exactly sure what to do or if it's even possible. I have "Modem firmware 2.0.12" <- does that even make sense everywhere I read it seems like that's for gsm? oh and I'm on 5.1.1
Any help would be soooooooo appreciated thanks in advance

Not sure if Gevey sim or rsim cover this, sprint is usually cool with unlocking iPhones though.

What do you mean by cool with unlocking phones? Would I be able to just call them up or hit up a local sprint?

Call them tell them you want to unlock the iPhone 4s, they have 2 antennas you'll need a tmobile sim to use it with TM.

Unlock is for GSM networks and flashing is for CDMA networks.

Okay thanks, I have one of those micro ones from t-mobile. I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't just call them, but I guess it can't hurt to call tomorrow. Thanks again.

Because I have the iPhone 4s on sprint I need to jailbreak it so that the Gevey sim will work. I, however, have gone to a local "flasher" and he claims he can get it running on T-Mobile. I'll see how that goes.

No he wasn't able to. My only hope is the 5.1.1 jailbreak. I recently bought the gevey sim but like I said I'm eagerly awaiting the jailbreak.
