Everybody using this method should back up the activation ticket @MuscleNerd says Apple working on fixing servers to kill the SAM unlock

@MuscleNerd: Looks like Apple's currently fixing their activation servers. But the good news is that previous tickets gotten via SAM trick still work.

This is just for gsm networks if you were trying a CDMA network it wont work

... just got an iphone 4S (CDMA) and had a couple of questions, unlike communist420 I wasn't planning on using the phone on a CDMA network, I was thinking about switching to GSM (AT&T/Tmobile/Straight Talk) would SAM work? I've read bit on Gevey but was wondering if that is the only workaround? Anything else you guys recommend? If your going to use it on a gsm carrier, yes.

Gevey isn't really a workaround, it's just another method/tool to unlock your device.

can i use a backup ticket that i have from my 4S to apply in a 4 ?
