My 3G/internet should be working... I don't know what causes this problem really. But I'm getting a bit desperate. :/ I have full 3G signal, but mail, safari, YouTube and apps like those doesn't work.

I am in a 3G area, this SIM card has always worked earlier so it's not broken...

Is it the first time you've used that carrier, sometimes the iPhone will show 3G but it may not be a compatible frequency that the carrier is using.

Well I've used the same SIM card and Tele2 with another iPhone 3G. Not with this one, it was locked to something else so I unlocked it with redsn0w and got iPad Baseband. I'm not 100% sure if internet was working then, because I was mostly using WiFi at the time.

Not sure at all why it doesn't work. I got this phone from a friend and it worked to 100% along with internet. It could be because somehow, when I jailbroke it, I used a outdated iOS 4 IPSW in redsn0w at first. So when I for example, go on Cydia - it says both iOS 5 and 4. Maybe this could have damaged it, not sure, but things like this is always fix-able... Everything on the phone works great except for Safari and such...

But an iPhone with no internet it's pretty useless tbh... so I really wanna get this fixed.

hi!...on my chip write 36MY1EE..my iphone 3gs is new bootrom but this don't work...i hava the same problems..the most anoying is that my iphone reset every 1-2 minutes...what can i do?

Make sure the battery is connected properly after opening even a slight shift can cause this issue.

this is the thing...my battery is on Red...i dont know if this is the problem..when i try to charge it the phone reboots and power on alone...

Can i charge in DFU Mode?

You should be able to charge in dfu but you need to try and reinstall the bb on the iPhone likely it was a bad install and you have a nice iPod, did you get the iTunes error -1?

i buy this iphone in recovery mode and i use an custom ios 5.1.1(no error)..I need to install the official restore?
