Question From what I've heard I'm screwed?

Ok so I got a new iPhone 3GS last night as a replacement for one that had some software issues (long story...) and i got it at 4.3.5 and was so excited i stupidly upgraded and jailbroke immediately after hearing of the untethered 5.0.1, i'm with T-mobile and so started looking up if i can flash iPad baseband on it. Soon i learned unlockers should stay away from official ipsw's (i learned my lesson...), my baseband is locked, and since its a 2011 3GS and it has the new bootrom flashing the iPad baseband will brick it. I started looking at Gevey SIM but from what I've seen it only works on iPhone 4 's? I really need this unlocked or i'm going to have to sell it on craigslist or something.

    Here are the stats
    model- MB717LL
    S/N- QR1381A43NR
    Modem Firmware- 05.16.05

I also have 4.1, 5.0.1, and some beta 5.1 thing shsh saved

So do i have any options or solutions and is all that stuff true?
    Thanks,
    Devin

Luckily enough, you have your SHSH blobs saved!

Follow this guide, it will work.
    Unlock IPhone 3GS On IOS 5 Baseband 5.16.05 | BeijingiPhoneRepair.com

After the restore is finished, you will most certainly get a 1015 error code. Simply boot up Tiny Umbrella, and click on "Exit Recovery." Your phone will then proceed to reboot normally.

Nope. It's fine for both the old and new bootrom.

However, if you have the new 3GS model, then you run the risk of doing so.
